Props from film/photo shoot at the Counterpoint workshop studio in Flushing, Queens for an upcoming documentary film series featuring the diy collaboration history between Paul Gnu (Counterpoint Garments) & La Mano Fria (Beta Bodega/Sud Swap Audio/Tokyo Book Club) since the early 90's in South Florida to now (NYC/Tokyo). The Arepaz record label is an official affiliate of Beta Bodega Coalition and was launched officially in 2005 to provide yet another take on progressive Latin American music. Electronic instrumentals provide the landscape of sounds celebrating immigrants worldwide, in particular NYC and South Florida. The filming was in 2025, coinciding with the record labels 20 Year Anniversary. Typeface by La Mano Fria, inspired by Sopa de Letras.

Counterpoint Garments, born in Brooklyn in 1992, channels skate, hip-hop, and Black cultural resilience into authentic, durable streetwear. La Mano Fria is a multidisciplinary artist, graphic designer, and record label owner known for bridging NYC graffiti roots with South Florida and Tokyo underground scenes. He is a pioneer in "tape art" (using tape for graphics) and runs labels like Beta Bodega and Botanica del Jibaro, while designing for artists such as Prefuse 73 and Common. Founded Rice and Beans clothing (1996) and labels including Beta Bodega (1999), often collaborating with underground artists.
