This exhibition is the celebration, farewell and remix to a five story office building’s last physical moments as a creative hub for graffiti writers, painters, graphic designers, musicians and more. Tokyo book club, who’s office/studio was inside the building’s "4th Floor" from 2024-25, drew inspiration from its downtown Tokyo location, plus its Showa-Heisei era history and culture. This office on the 4F, was also the home to La Mano Fria's Graphic design Workshop classes and the Platano Press Shop. All artists worked on/with the relics found within the building to commemorate their creative time there. Come and experience the reworking and pieces of the era. The life, death and remix of a 1985 office building. Life’s a glitch, 40 years in the re-making. Tokyo history.
